Activated alumina belongs to the category of chemical alumina and is mainly used as adsorbents, water purifiers, catalysts and catalyst carriers.


Activated alumina has the ability to selectively adsorb gas, water vapor and moisture in certain liquids. After adsorption is saturated, it can be resurrected by heating to remove water at about 175-315°C. Adsorption and resurrection can be performed multiple times.


In addition to being used as a desiccant, it can also absorb lubricating oil vapor from polluted oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, natural gas, etc. And can be used as catalyst, catalyst carrier and chromatographic analysis carrier. It can be used as a defluoridating agent for high-fluoride drinking water (large fluoride removal capacity), a defluoridating agent for circulating alkanes in alkylbenzene production, a deacidifying regenerant for transformer oil, and used as a gas dryer in the oxygen production industry, textile industry, and electronics industry. , automated instrument air drying and used as desiccant and purifier in the fertilizer, petrochemical drying and other industries (dew point can reach -40℃), and in the air separation industry, pressure swing adsorption dew point can reach -55℃. It is an efficient desiccant for deep drying of trace amounts of water. Ideal for heatless regeneration installations.
