Aluminum silica gel is chemically stable, non combustible, insoluble in solvents other than strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid, and has strong thermal stability. Its adsorption and separation properties are better than those of fine porous silica gel.
1. Compared with the fine porous silica gel, the relative humidity adsorption capacity of the fine porous silica gel is equivalent (e.g. RH=10%, RH=20%), but the high humidity adsorption capacity (e.g. RH=80%, RH=90%) is 6-10% higher than that of the fine porous silica gel;
2. The thermal stability of aluminum silica gel is more than 150 ℃ higher than that of fine porous silica gel (200 ℃), which is suitable for variable temperature adsorption and separation.
3. As the aluminum silica gel has higher strength and lower wear rate, it has longer service life and higher cost performance than the fine porous silica gel. The PSA gas separation process has two basic properties: one is that different components have different adsorption capacities under the same pressure; the other is that the adsorption capacity of different components on the adsorbent increases with the increase of their partial pressure and decreases with the increase of adsorption temperature. With one property of adsorbent, some components in the mixed gas can be preferentially adsorbed to achieve separation and purification; By using the two properties of adsorbent, the adsorbent can be adsorbed at low temperature and high pressure and desorbed and regenerated at high temperature and low pressure, so as to realize the adsorption and regeneration cycle of adsorbent and achieve the goal of continuous gas separation.
4. The aluminum silica gel has no combustibility, can ensure the safety of oil depots and gas stations, has high oil and gas recovery efficiency and low oil and gas emissions, and is widely used in oil and gas recovery devices and various gas recovery.
